dammit pharma. . .

so, i have done a "dammit medicaid" and a "dammit medicare" post, so it is only right to add to the list a "dammit pharma" one too. there are just too many reasons for me to list on here why the pharmaceutical industry so raises my ire, but i'll try to put a few key words in here: greed, lies, cover-ups, in bed with W. there are few industries in this "global economy" of ours that make my blood boil quite so much as this one. maybe the slave trade would be one.

these companies and their sweet little advertisements trying to explain to the "average person" that drug prices are so high cos of people like "sarah, the hiv+ girl who inspires us to work harder and harder to find new and innovative ways to treat disease" (not a direct quote) do not tell the whole story. or even half of it.
